Dali Pigeon is David Biederman and Linda Fraas, who began writing and performing together about five years ago in New York City, where they live. More than anything, Dali Pigeon is a musical partnership born of an unexpected convergence, a happy accident, a deep connection, and strange convening of married partners that came not out of nowhere, but somewhere Linda and David didn’t know existed.
David has been playing since the 80s, banging around in bands and loving it. Linda has been writing lyrics about the absurdities of life since she was a child in rural NH. She provides odd, amusing and deeply moving observations informed by a roots country sensibility that when set to music composed by David, incorporate a unique mutant blend of forms born out of a lifelong love of rock, psych, and jazz. Dali Pigeon is going for it, looking for and finding ideas, inspiration and amazing musicians to play with as they seek to take their newfound creative endeavor as far as they can.
